Erik has received a very clear statement (multiple times) through prayer that it's time to "re-define our family". So, we're doing it!
It's a very scary and overwhelming thought to accept, but it's something that has to happen. Erik has done a great job at his current company but has no ability to go further and would love to be in a profession that interests him. I would also love to see him come home from work excited about what he's doing.
We know this is the only time we'll be able to do this because our kids are so young and so are we. We want to be able to finish school, start a career and be able to buy our first house without having to worry about our small price range limiting the school districts or safety of the areas that we can live in. Our kids deserve the best and we owe it to them to do everything we can to give them that, which is exactly what we believe this will do.
We're really excited and feel like this is the absolute best decision for our family and future. It will be hard, but it has to be done!

That is so exciting!! Big things are in store for your family :) Don't you just love it when answers to prayers come that directly?? Sometimes they're the scariest answers, but at least you know you're doing the right thing!
