Londyn got to dress up in her Halloween costume for Preschool and decided this was the only day that she didn't want to be a ladybug....on Halloween. Really?
After coaxing and a tad bit of forcing the costume over her head, she changed her mind and grew fond of her costume rather quickly. We even got a smile out of her!
We held out costumes on Scotlyn until the evening to avoid ripped tights and dirty costumes. This ended up being a GREAT idea, considering she fell and scraped her face on the concrete. That red nose in her pictures was definitely not makeup.
Londyn got to do a costume parade and sing a cute pumpkin song (Although, she was out in Lala-land for the song. Hehe. Cute girl) at Preschool.
Here she is spinning!
What can I say? She does her own thing. Miss Independent. :)
We decided to hang out in my parents' neighborhood for trick or treating. Sadly, Erik had to head back to Corinth for school in the evening, but we got some cute pictures and he did get to see them all dressed up.
Coincidentally, my friend Shelby called me and was taking her sweet kiddos out at the same time. She was able to come over and trick or treat with us.
Reese was a pro at trick or treating and Londyn soon figured out what she was doing. They were both running up to doors knocking and yelling "trick or treat" after they got the hang of it. My favorite was hearing Londyn running away yelling "Tank you! Happy Howaween!".
Madison and Scotlyn hung out in the stroller most of the time. Scotlyn got down for a few houses and after trying to go into everyone's houses, we put her back in the stroller. She wasn't happy about it, but I bribed her with a Rice Crispy Treat and she didn't complain too much. ;)
We missed trick or treating with Daddy, but we still had a lot of fun. It was definitely a Halloween to remember! :)
