How are the girls, you ask? Well, I'll tell you.

Londyn is 3 weeks from 3 and Scotlyn is one month from turning 1, today. I CANNOT believe they are almost another year old. I know people always say how they feel like it was just yesterday they were holding their kids as newborn babies, but it's so true. I wonder all the time if I'm going to be thinking this way when my kids are 35. Will I still remember the first time I held them or how it felt feeling them move inside my belly? It's really incredible that I can love two little beings so much.

Londyn

Londyn is turning into a 3 year old right before our eyes. Every single day she has something new she's saying or doing. She's so stinkin' cute. Even on her bad days, she makes me laugh. It's really hard to get mad at this little girl.

She has put the words "spill" and "poop" together and let me tell you, she has made me fall in the floor laughing with the things she comes up with. Last week, Scotlyn spilled her bottle on the floor and Londyn started yelling, "Mom! She pooped! Wook! She pooped!". My frustration of the formula in the carpet quickly turned to hysterical laughter. I about died.

More on Londyn at almost 3:

-Very patient (for her age)
-Loves to give hugs and will sneak up behind us and hug us around the neck from behind
-Knows her ABC's and can count to 10
-Knows almost all her colors and is coming along on her shapes
-LOVES to dance
-Sings along with me in the car
-Absolutely loves nursery and going to church
-Is obsessed with seeing her friend, McKenna
-Favorite food is currently pizza
-Is completely potty trained
-Is a total daddy's girl, but still freaks out when mom leaves
-She's a great big sister and loves helping take care of Scotlyn
-Never forgets that she needs her teeth brushed
-Talks about her bath all day long and pretends to bathe her toys in her kitchen sink
-Loves for Erik to throw her sticky toy pig at the wall and wait til it comes down while yelling "Come down, Pig!"
-Hates taking pictures unless she can see herself in my phone.
-Loves Yo Gabba Gabba (still) and High School Musical 2 (or "Show")
-Knows the entire first verse of "I'm a Child of God" and makes me cry every time she sings along.
-Loves the library (especially the computer games)
-Can't say Grammy so calls her "Weinie"
-Crazy about Pappy and Uncle Pete
-Loves singing with Erik's mom on Skype

 Scotlyn

Scotlyn has become quite the little comedian. She cackles all the time and loves to smack the top of her Pappy's head. She's so close to walking and is into absolutely everything now. She also loves bath time (just like her sister) and when she hears the faucet turn on after dinner, she kicks her little legs and starts screaming with her arms in the air. She crawls so fast to the bathroom where she knocks everything off the side of the tub while she waits to be put in the water. We love her.

More on Scotlyn:

-She thinks she's the busiest kid in the world. She does NOT have time for diaper changes. We hate changing her diaper.
-She loves vegetables (especially corn, just like Londyn)
-She adores Londyn and follows her around all day long
-Still an absolute Mommy's girl. The world is not right without Mommy around at all times.
-Still takes three naps a day
-Sleeps from 7:30pm-5am, takes a bottle and goes back to bed until 7:30am.
-Loves her paci at bed and nap times
-Weaned herself at 10 months and is fully formula fed
-Starting to chunk up a little bit and has crazy chunkalicious feet
-Very ticklish and loves to entertain
-Crazy about her Grammy and Pappy
-Loves to climb on everything
-Thinks it's funny to ram into feet with her walker
-Walks along furniture
-Isn't afraid of other babies. She loves guests.
-Thinks she's too big to be fed with a spoon (except when it's yogurt)
-Has 8 teeth (four on top and four on bottom)
-Has started sticking her tongue out at strangers
-Can say Mama, Daddy, buh-bye (while waving), hey, and hi
-Everything is a phone to Scotlyn
-Loves to show off for Erik's parents when we have our weekly Sunday Skype Session

Funny Story: Last week while the girls were having breakfast, Londyn held up her piece of bread to her ear and said "Hello?" while looking at Scotlyn. Scotlyn picked up her little torn up piece of bread and put it to her ear and goes "Hey".

They're both getting so big and won't smile for pictures with Mom anymore. They're already too cool for me. ;)
